Following on from the CVA's loss of territory in Providence, we note that the Against ALL Authorities alliance seems to be adopting a policy of balkanising the region and allowing a number of other alliances to claim sovereignty there subject to certain pre-conditions.
Since the very first days of Operation Deliverance, PIE has supported the idea that Providence should one day be considered to be a part of the Empire. It is clear that recent events have delayed the pacification of Providence and its eventual absorption into the Empire.
As such, we consider the new occupants of Providence to be acting against the interests of Amarrian expansion.
Therefore, for the duration of -A-'s dominance of Providence, PIE will by default consider all new sovereignty holders there to be anti-Amarrian and therefore KOS. Note that this also applies to any non-Loyalist alliances who may gain sovereignty there in the future even if they have not fought against Loyalist forces to acquire it.
Whist exiting from Providence will not automatically result on a revocation of KOS status, we will of course be happy to enter into private diplomacy to discuss the normalisation of relations with corporations or alliances marked as hostile.

Unlike Ushra'Khan, we see no need to abandon NRDS when entering an area where our enemies may be.

Re-read the statement: "PIE will by default consider all new sovereignty holders there to be anti-Amarrian." The status of those alliances which previously held sovereignty will be considered on an idividual basis. |

So this is like the Ushra'khan's NBSI in Providence without the courage to say so.
Except that we won't be shooting at neutrals.

Originally by: Suitonia How do you define "occupant". You will be shooting any organisations that have claimed sovereignty, but will you also be shooting at people whom are living their but make no claim to space? Also, if you encounter a neutral, such as a person just passing through, or even shooting the residents there, how would you handle such a situation.
Just passing though or living in Providence will not in themselves be grounds for being set red.
Quote: Will Capsuleers be warned in advance if they are being given "occupant" status (non obvious occupant such as an alliance living in the space provided)?
This thread serves as a warning - if you're not loyal to the Empire and you take sovereignty in Providence, you will be set red.

Still does not answer the question that was presented to you.
Yes it does.

Originally by: Icarus3 well I hope you don't conveniently forget that PXF are still holding space and to shoot them as well ;-)
Re-read my original statement: "PIE will by default consider all new sovereignty holders there to be anti-Amarrian."
There's a clue in the italicised word.
